Kate’s interest in sports and biomechanics led her to study for a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry). She was drawn to podiatry as it incorporates health care, sports and biomechanics.
She has a wide range of experience, including time spent in the UK in both private practices and hospital settings, before moving to Perth Foot and Ankle Clinic. This has given her vast expertise in all areas of podiatry, including general treatment, nail surgery, musculoskeletal injuries and orthotic prescription.
Kate sees the future of podiatry broadening to include more physical therapies and involvement with physiotherapists, to provide complete patient care. As technology advances, it will be increasingly integrated to offer faster and more accurate diagnoses, and more effective treatment.
